Leonard's Books was originally founded in 1972 as Leonard's Antiques & Used Furniture by Leonard E. Haley, of Lafayette, Indiana, but is now owned and operated by Leonard's son, Eric. Over the years, the inventory gradually gave way to Eric's favorite stock-- mostly books, and gradually all books.
Leonard's was the first antiques store in the Lafayette area to go online, in 1996. In 2001, the landmark stare was closed, and we moved our collection of rare, out-of-print, and quality used books and magazines to our new location in Carroll County, Indiana.
Our satisfied customers would tell you you've come to the right place. After 35 years, you can still find the same high quality and friendly service that Leonard and Eric have always been known for. Yes, you can stop by, but please call first and make an appointment so we'll be sure to be here to meet you. (574) 652-2151.
Our other specialty is hand bookbinding. This means you can buy any book in our inventory and then have it rebound into a special, one-of-a-kind gift copy. See Leonard's Book Restoration Station today and check out our quality book rebinding, restoration, and repair services, with great free tips for simple repair jobs. Questions? Call (574) 652-2151.
