Here’s a showcase of some of our really nice books, great for gift-giving:  (And we’ll even gift-wrap them for you!)

Leonard’s Books was originally founded in 1972 as Leonard’s Antiques & Used Furniture by Leonard E. Haley, of Lafayette, Indiana, but is now owned and operated by Leonard’s son, Eric.  Over the years, the inventory gradually gave way to Eric’s favorite stock– mostly books, and gradually all books.

Leonard’s was the first antiques store in the Lafayette area to go online, in 1996.  In 2001, the landmark store was closed, and we moved our collection of rare, out-of-print, and quality used books and magazines to our new location in Carroll County, Indiana.

We have since then gradually changed our main focus to book rebinding, but still have a smaller, stripped-down, focused inventory of better books available for purchase. Many of these are also attractive and great for gift giving, especially those we’ve rebound.

Our satisfied customers would tell you you’ve come to the right place.  After 39 years, you can still find the same high quality and friendly service that Leonard and Eric have always been known for.  Yes, you can stop by, but please call first and make an appointment so we’ll be sure to be here to meet you.  (574) 652-2151.
