This is a series of pages totally devoted to the care of your personal Bible, from simple repair needs to the post-op instructions. Hopefully we can answer most of your questions about Bibles from this area.

If your Bible just has a few quick problems you can address yourself, feel free to visit our Quick Tips for Simple Book Repair jobs. This may give you enough information to restore your Bible’s functionality.

There are many things we can do for your Bible without having to give it a whole new cover.

If your Bible is coming apart, but you know the old proverb (not in the Bible) about “A stitch in time saves nine” and you want to get your Bible fixed before you lose pages, visit our Bible Repair page.

If you’ve waited too long and your Bible is a mass of box tape or duct tape and school glue, or the bonded leather is disintegrating like bonded leather does, then you should consider visiting our Bible rebinding page. We can retire the old cover and give your Bible an extreme makeover.

If you like, we can even send you the old cover to put in a scrap book. (One Bible we rebound had been rebound by its owner once before with a concert poster. That was a nice keepsake, but it didn’t really do the Bible justice.)

Or, if you’d like to search for the perfect binding for your Bible by category, see our Bible Rebinding Types page.

If you have one of those large family Bibles that are precious keepsakes from the past — especially if it has your ancestors’ genealogical information, tintypes, or fossilized flowers in it — and it needs restoration, you’ve come to the right place. We can restore it close to its original condition or do a simple repair job, depending on how old the Bible is and how much you would like to have done. Read on! Your next click will take you to our Family Bible page.

17th Century Country Parson style, in a hardcover version with hand-sewn head and tail bandsIf you would like to have your special Bible rebound in an historical look, that’s now possible.  Even if your Bible is brand new, if you would like to see it in a really distinctive binding, we can help.  We have introduced a new series of four Historical Bible Rebindings. Go ahead and take a look!

"Dr. Eric's" Bible Care TipsIf you’ve just had your Bible rebound or repaired, visit our Post-Operating Instructions page for helpful hints from the Bibliopogist.
