My Mom and Dad bought a Bible together at a special time in their lives. They used it regularly for years upon years and added notes & dates-making it very personal. After years of use, the pages were tearing & separating from the binding and the cover was in bad shape. My mom was sad because it was hard for her to use it any longer and after the death of my Dad, she really wanted to continue using this Bible. I searched for a Binding Service and arranged for this Special Bible to be restored at Leonard's Book Restoration. I left the day it was returned to me to take it to my mom - even though during this pandemic I am unable to go inside to visit her in the Assisted Living Facility where she resides. We have to visit through the window. I sent it inside to her then called her to talk & look through the window while she opened the gift bag. She immediately held it up to her heart and with tears in her eyes said "I can see your Dad now as we stood picking out this Bible together. He will be so happy I have it back." This has been a challenging time not being able to visit in person with my mom. Being able to gift her with something as precious as "their Bible" was the best thing we had experienced during this pandemic. I was absolutely astounded at the results of this restoration and would give 10 stars if they were available. THANK YOU for your exceptional work!
