Nicer leather than the original
I purchased my wide-margin KJV Bible in 1990. The original leather cover was quite nice, and I took care of it as well as I could. The front and rear covers remained in mostly decent shape for that timeframe, but the spine became severely curled and the leather torn along that area, so the entire cover needed replacement. I'm happy to report that Leonard's Book Restoration has restored the binding to new condition, and the new leather cover is even nicer than the original. The leather I chose from their various good selections has a much softer and thicker look and feel. I'm very pleased with their work and am glad that I sent my Bible to them for restoration -- I will recommend them to anyone who needs this service. I also requested 4 new ribbon markers to replace the original single ribbon, and those are very nice as well.
