Strap Wrap Style

Strap Wrap Style

This style was introduced on our Facebook page long ago, but we’re finally putting it on our website.  It has both a wraparound flap and a long strap to tie it, or really just to wrap around it several times.

The bottom one is a stiffer embossed cowhide, and it is great for a larger, heavier Bible.  It comes in both the Western Floral Tool and an Elephant Grain.

The one on the top is our soft thicker cowhide.  We can use one of the bombers or one of the thicker cowhides with a more even color (walnut, black, etc.) Though the leather is thick, it is very soft and flexible in this style, and is suitable for a small to medium size Bible.

Both of these Strap Wraps have unturned edges, or a “rag edge.”  We can use the rag edge format without the strap as well.

Snap Flap Bibles:

These snap bars have been hard to find over the years, but we have a limited supply right now.  If they go out of style again, this part of the page will suddenly vanish, but in the meantime, here are some pictures:  These are very nice for turning your smaller Bible into a pocketbook, for keeping it in a purse or backpack.  We can use the goat cow, pictured here, or one of our River Grain goatskins.
