The History Behind the America 250 Style

While this style is technically not a historical style — yet — we have designed it as a commemorative of history in the making, as the U.S.A. celebrates 250 years as a Constitutional Republic.  Though America has had some periods where detractors have attempted to declare that we are no longer a Christian nation, providentially, we keep being brought back to our Christian roots, the true religion of our forebearers.  

Here’s a speech by Benjamin Franklin, in which he calls for the resumption of prayer before sessions of Congress.  He says in part, “I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men.  And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?”

On May 17, 2026, President Trump has announced that there will be a rededication of our nation to God.  Rejoice!  We can celebrate the renewal of our nation’s early covenants with the Almighty at this important juncture.  May He hear us from heaven, save America, forgive us our sins, and heal our land.
