Soft Covers
Here’s a list of squeezable Bible rebindings in leathers soft to the touch. All rebinding projects come complete with “Holy Bible” on the spine or face (if the material can be imprinted), one ribbon marker, and new leatherette end pages.
These prices are assuming your Bible has an intact sewn spine. If the pages are falling out or the spine is glued, we would need to repair that with cord insertion ($20.00).
When you know what you’d like, just proceed to our ordering page. If you can’t decide, give us a call or write.
Simply beautiful! Cranberry goatskin suede!
Beautiful, rich deep red color and an ultra-soft texture.
Soft-tanned Goatskin
Available in medium brown (butterscotch or tobacco), black, pearl (below), or a thicker glossy chocolate (left).
Natural Grain Deerskin
Available (in season) hand-dyed to a glossy medium to dark brown (pictured), saddle tan, or mahogany, or in a natural grain pre-dyed dark brown.
This is one of our softest leathers. Deerskin is a wild animal, so expect variations in thickness, color, and “marks of originality” on the surface, variables that make your Bible unique from others’.
As with many other soft leathers, this is easy to blind-stamp.
Soft, flexible lambskin:
Very soft, smooth, full-grained leather with super flexibility. Lambskin comes in black (pictured), navy, white, lilac (below) red, forest, and many other beautiful colors. This is good for a small to medium Bible. We do not recommend it for a large Bible.
Oasis Red Torino Cowhide (new!)
Beautiful new soft cowhide with an antiqued look. This has a wonderful flexible feel to it.
We can also order several colors in soft and flexible “lamb’s touch” plonge cowhide, soft like lambskin but durable and useful for a larger Bible as well as a small one. Pictured below is a light pink. This color is in stock along with dark purple, turquoise, and black. How would you like this in teal, fuchsia, or brown coral?
